Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Zayna app. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them, so please read them carefully.

1. What Zayna is

Zayna is a guide to home kitchens in Libya. You can browse kitchens, products and reviews, contact a kitchen on WhatsApp, or post a request so several kitchens send offers and you choose one.

Zayna is not a seller and is not a party to any agreement between a customer and a kitchen. We don't prepare, sell or deliver food; kitchens are independent businesses responsible for their own products and services.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use Zayna. By using the app you confirm that you are.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login details private
• The information you give must be accurate
• You are responsible for all activity on your account
• You can delete your account at any time from settings

4. Customers' responsibilities

• The order, price, payment and delivery are agreed directly between you and the kitchen, not with Zayna
• Requests you post must be reasonable, legal and clear
• Reviews must be honest and based on your real experience
• You can review a kitchen you contacted through Zayna (or whose offer you chose) at least two days later. This doesn't mean Zayna verifies that a purchase happened

5. Kitchens' responsibilities

Kitchens using Zayna agree to:

• Give accurate and complete information about the kitchen, its products and prices
• Honour the offers they send and reply to customers in reasonable time
• Follow Libyan food safety laws and keep good hygiene in preparation and packaging
• Not list prohibited or illegal products
• Not review themselves or ask for fake reviews

Kitchen accounts are subject to Zayna's approval, and we may suspend or remove any account that breaks these terms. See also the Kitchen Terms.

6. The «موثّقة» (Verified) badge

The badge means the Zayna team has met the kitchen and checked its basic details. It is not a guarantee of food safety or quality. Kitchens without it appear without a badge, and the badge is never sold.

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not use Zayna to:

• Post false, misleading or fraudulent content
• Harass or abuse other users
• Offer or request illegal products or materials
• Manipulate reviews or kitchen ratings
• Post fake, duplicate or nuisance requests
• Do anything that breaks applicable law

We may hide any request, offer or review that breaks these terms and suspend accounts that do. New photos and text are checked automatically, and anything that looks like a violation is hidden until a person on the Zayna team reviews it. Details, and how to report, block and appeal, are in the Community Rules.

8. Orders, payment and delivery

Conversation and agreement on price, payment and delivery happen between you and the kitchen on WhatsApp or outside the app. Zayna is not responsible for any dispute about payment, delivery or the quality of an order.

9. Cancellations and refunds

Each kitchen sets its own cancellation and refund policy, and Zayna does not guarantee any refund. If you have a problem with a kitchen, email us at [email protected] and we will do our best to help.

10. Content you provide

By sending content through Zayna (photos, reviews, descriptions or requests), you give us a non-exclusive, free licence to use and display it in the app, and you confirm you have the right to provide it.

11. Disclaimer

Zayna is provided "as is" without warranties. We don't guarantee the quality, safety or legality of any kitchen's products, and we are not responsible for disputes, damage or losses arising from dealings between customers and kitchens.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zayna is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept it, and we will change the date at the top when we do.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Libya.
